Marry—or else.
Navy SEAL Brian Lake is out of luck. Going rogue on his last mission landed him on a fast track out of the Navy—years too soon to have saved up enough money to buy the ranch he’s always wanted. Without a career—or the cash to start over—Brian’s options are few, until Army general Augustus Reed steps in with an intriguing new mission—a permanent one.
Ignored by her absentee father, duped by the thief he appointed to oversee her family’s ranch, Cass Reed is done with men for good. From now on she’s determined to run Two Willows herself, so when her father sends a Navy SEAL to fix up her house, she vows to run him off her land as soon as possible. But Brian’s just as determined to stay, and he’s in a far different league than the men she’s met before.
Brian’s ready to do anything that will earn him a share of a prosperous ranch—even take a chance on marrying the General’s daughter. And he soon realizes it won’t be a hardship to marry Cass. She’s everything he’s ever dreamed of in a woman—and Two Willows is everything he wanted in a ranch.
But he’s not the only one who wants Two Willows—and Cass.
Will falling in love be the most dangerous mission of all?

Outstanding book!!!

I got totally sucked into this book right from the very beginning. It was a wild ride at times, some I thought they’d never be able to survive from, but somehow they did. IMO- Brian was the perfect hero. Between his brawn and their brains, they were a real force to be reckoned with, for sure. This book combines mystery, romance, lots of wild action, one of the best suspense scenes I’vecome across in a long time, and there’s also a touch of the paranormal. Well, not so much in the way of what people think as paranormal to be, it was more like Alice having that sixth sense, always knowing when something big was about to come their way, long before it did. She could also sense wether those things were good or bad, but never the outcome of the situation.
I don’t mind telling you that the General is ticking me off badly. If he loves his daughters as much as he professes he does, then why can’t he tell them, or why couldn’t he find the courage to visit them once and a while? I felt so sad that he didn’t show up to walk Cass down the isle on the most important day of her life. It would serve him right, if his daughters turned their backs on him for good.
Can’t wait to read more!!!
Wonderful start to a new series!

This is such an interesting premise. I really enjoyed meeting all five sisters on the Two Willows Ranch. They have really had it rough with an absent father who dictates how the ranch is run even though the sisters are more than capable of running it themselves. In fact his interference is the reason for the troubles that they are embroiled in. But his (The General) sending Brian in to find out the problems and taking care of them and getting the oldest daughter Cass to fall in love with him is the beginning of his plan to take care of his daughters. And the ranch. After a lot of drama, suspense, violence and romance Brian’s mission is accomplished but it is only the beginning. I definitely recommend this book and am looking forward to starting the second one in this series. Enjoy! 😀
Omg! Action packed romance and excitement!

Back again at my favorite place Chance Creek. God I want to live there!! Lol! Cass, along with her four sisters are alone trying to keep their ranch together, and also themselves as the only family they have. Their mother is dead, and their father, a General has been absent from their lives since their mothers passing. The girls have run off every overseer their father puts in charge of the ranch. He believes they need a man to run things. They’re doing just fine on their own. Except their not. So there father try’s another tactic by sending ex navy seal Brian to be a “handyman” and fix things up. A romance quickly starts between Cass and Brian. As Brian also helps Cass’s sisters get their lives back on tract, They realize how much they need each other and together fill the voids left in their lives and create a real home and family. I can’t recommend this story enough. Loved, loved, LOVED IT!!! Can’t wait for the next installment and the next sisters adventure!!
