Issued to the Bride: One Marine was a joy to write, because I absolutely adored both Logan Hughes and Lena Reed. They are fierce, funny, loving, loyal and a little wacky—the best combination of traits, to my way of thinking. I didn’t have to work to make the sparks fly between them—all I had to do was put Logan and Lena in the same place, and those sparks created themselves.
Two Willows has also grown to be a very special place for me, and I can’t believe there’s only one more book to go in the series. It’s going to be a doozy: with Jack and Alice going head to head, anything can happen—and will. Watch for Issued to the Bride: One Soldier in July 2018.Read More ->

“Don’t let the General see you do that,” Jack Sanders said in a voice as monotone as a robot’s.
Logan didn’t care; it had taken him weeks to wear the man down enough to…Read More ->

She looked him over. "Did you really come here to marry me?"
Logan nodded. What else could he do?
"And you thought you could actually do that? Marry someone you don't know a thing about? Make a life with her—with me?"
He chuckled. "I know a thing or two about you, Lena." When she scowled, he went on. "I know you love this land more than your own life. I know you've wanted to be a rancher since before you could walk. I know a man treated you wrong. I wish I'd been there to stop that. I know that if I could every prove to you who I really am, the two of us could have a hell of a lot of fun. You're wild in the best of ways. You're funny. You're smart. You're . . . amazing." As he ticked off her qualities, Logan realized he really did know her.
What's more, he liked her. A lot.
